We are many parts, we are all one body.
Every ministry in a parish is a vital part,
but it is CHRIST that makes us whole.

The inaugural Ministry Congress in October, 2010 brought together hundreds of Church leaders from many ministries throughout the Diocese of Gary, united by the Christian church's mission to go forth and serve.

A collaborative effort of the ministry offices of the Diocese of Gary Pastoral Center, the Ministry Congress returns to St. Thomas More in Fall, 2011, another opportunity to enhance our unique ministries while at the same time seek a greater understanding of how our ministries work together to build a better church community.

Ministry Congress is also a celebration of who we are as Catholic Christians. United in Eucharist, we will pray and celebrate Mass together, inspired to carry Christ's Presence into the many ministries in which we serve.

We will be led by Bishop Dale J. Melczek and keynote speakers Rev. John C. Cusick and Dr. Richard R. Gaillardetz. Additionally, formation sessions feature ministry experts from around the country.

Make plans to bring an entire team of parish leaders from many ministries to the Diocese of Gary Ministry Congress 2011.
