Before CYX: All CYX participants will be encouraged to raise monetary donations for Opportunity Enterprises’ new OE Lakeside Fundraising Campaign. Their goal is to raise enough money to expand their Lake Eliza facility to serve more clients. Thanks to the Dean and Barbara White Family Foundation, they will match every dollar we raise. Donations will be collected at CYX check-in. Learn More about the OE Lakeside Project During CYX: Perhaps the most xciting part of the CYX partnership: an estimated 60-80 residents from OE group homes will join us for a community outreach picnic for lunch on Sunday! We will present OE with a check for the amount collected. The picnic will include music, fun DYC skits created for our guests, games, and promises to be a great chance to show teens how great it can be when he heed Paul’s words that we are ALL the Body of Christ:

CYX 2010 participants
will be engaged in two key principles of Catholic social teaching: the
dignity of the human person and the call to community and participation.
We are xcited to announce that we are partnering with Opportunity
Enterprises, an organization that serves more than 1,000 persons with
developmental disabilities throughout Porter County and Northwest Indiana.
They serve people with Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, traumatic
brain injuries, severe physical and mental disabilities, and more.
