Registration for CYX is by group only. Registration Information will be sent to parish youth ministry leaders in mid-April. Online registration opens May 15 and continues until July 9.

Why register as a parish/school/organization and not as individuals? CYX lights a fire for many, inspiring them to continue the Xperience in their own local communities. Parish time allows groups to process the day and reminds teens that when it’s all over, the challenge is in finding God back home! Plus, it allows adults a chance to build community with young people on somewhat neutral ground. Adult youth leaders—whether they are the “coordinator” or not—will experience formation on the weekend, so they’re getting something out of it, too!

Group Leaders, I appreciate that the registration process can be difficult. We've made every effort to simplify it this year: one deadline for all forms, nothing to submit until July. Check it out:

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! To add a participant, you must deliver his/her Form P & Permission Form to the Diocese of Gary Pastoral Ctr. (93rd & Broadway, on the Merrillvl/Crown Pt. border) on or before Friday, July 16 (office hrs 8:30-4:30). No forms, money, or registrants will be accepted after July 16. A note from Kev: This deadline will be enforced. Please recognize that the decision to deny registrants after July 16th is a difficult one because no one ever wants to deny a ministry opportunity for a young person. However administrative time spent processing last-minute registrants can sacrifice the quality of the conference in many ways. Once lists are finalized, one single change sets off a chain reaction of adjustments requiring administrative work that detracts from program preparation, and those that do follow registration deadlines deserve the best CYX possible!
