Young adults (minimum
of one full academic year removed from HS), you are invited to serve as a
Staffer for CYX 2010. During the weekend, Staffers will assist with the
many elements of the conference, including, but not limited to:
Running errands Water Jug Duty Security Detail Night Crew
Learning Session Assistance
Setup & Cleanup A/V Stuff Environment
Speaker & Musician Assistance Giving Kev a foot massage (just kidding)
CYX 2010 Staffers must agree
to the following:
Apply on or before
April 1st (see application)
Come to serve, not to be served! (see
Matthew
20: 26-28)
Come to CYX with a willingness to be flexible and serve as
needed!
Pay a reduced Staffer fee of $40*.
Attend staff retreat July 18 (see application)
Be present the entire weekend. |
In exchange for your time and $, youll get:
The chance to be a
part of another GREAT CYX!
Room, Meals, and whatever snacks Kev has leftover in his sweaty
pockets.
Staffer t-shirt
Have fun and build some great community with other CYX Leaders &
Staffers. |
* While operational costs associated with CYX
have risen, the Office for Youth & Young Adults has tried to hold the line
on pricing. In order to ensure that as many staffers as possible have the
opportunity to serve, a $40 fee is required of all staffers to cover very
basic costs (room, meals, etc.). Please note this is significantly lower
than the actual per-person cost of CYX. This fee is not due until CYX
2010.
