What is "Theology on Tap?"
Theology on Tap is a casual forum where friends gather to discuss topics relevant to young adults, from a faith perspective. The mission of the program is to provide young adults from all walks of life "straight talk, hard facts and real
answers" on our faith -- and the implications of our faith on our daily lives, our community and our society.
Every week friends are present, a relaxed atmosphere is created, and the speakers are top-notch! Click on the schedule button to the left for more information about the speaker lineup.
Young adults-- both married and single, in their 20's and 30's-- are invited to attend Theology On Tap! Come as often as you wish, but to get the full benefit of T.O.T., you should consider attending all of the sessions in a series!
What happens there?
The featured speaker for the evening will lead and inspire! After the topic has been presented, you will be invited into lively discussions with your fellow young adults.
Theology on Tap is a place to meet new friends, learn a little, and have a lot of fun!
What should I bring?
Yourself, of course, and a friend
or two or three! Admission is $FREE!
I'm not Catholic. Can I
come?
We
welcome ALL young adults! Theology On Tap speakers present topics from a
Catholic perspective. Often non-Catholics will say, "I never knew that's what
the Catholic Church teaches about that." We also hear a good deal of
Catholics say, "I never knew that's what the Catholic Church teaches about
that!"
I'd like to recommend a
speaker, or I'm interested in serving in a leadership capacity. Who should I
call or email?
Each host site has a
contact person included on their page (click on the buttons to the left), or
contact Kevin Driscoll, Diocese of Gary Ofc for Young Adults, 219-769-9292 x229,
email.
Theology On Tap is great,
but what else is there for young adults?
There are
other young adult ministries that maintain a full calendar of programs all year
long. Get in touch with them- they'd love to have you!
